On Sunday 14th June the parish of St. Michael the Archangel re-opened for public Masses, Sacraments and Devotions. Registered parishioners are reminded that the obligation to attend Mass on Sundays and Holy Days remains suspended at this time and that they attend Mass at their own discretion.
If you are elderly or have an underlying condition effected by Covid 19 please consider carefully before attending. If you are unwell (for any cause) please do not attend. At this time priority is given to registered parishioners.
To accommodate the Covid restrictions and an uncertain number of parishioners wishing to return to St. Michaels it was thought best to arrange for the provision of two Mass on Saturday and two on Sunday and to divide the registered community into four alphabetical groups.
However the operation of this process has shown that the numbers wishing to return to Mass are such that the additional Saturday Mass is not required and that social distancing can be maintained under the usual Mass and Confession schedule.
With that said the parish of St. Michaels will return to its previous Saturday and Sunday schedule effective 20 June 2020 with no attendance restrictions. Please note well that if required this situation may change.
Saturday schedule
Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament at 8:00am
Confessions in the Church from 8:15am
Benediction with the Blessed Sacrament at 8:45am
The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass at 9:00am
Sunday Schedule
The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass at 8:00am and 10:15am
